INDIVIDUAL COURSE COST:
USD250.00 which includes courier fee for delivery of original hard copy certificate by airbag.
COURSE SCOPE:
The course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW section V/2, V/3 and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 1.29. Course is open to senior officers and any other personnel who are responsible for embarking and disembarking passengers and for the safety of passengers in emergency situations.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
After successful completion of the course, the delegate will be able to:
  1. Organise the safe movement of vehicles and passengers when embarking and disembarking;
  2. Control all elements of cargo safety and hull integrity;
  3. Monitor and control atmosphere in Ro-Ro cargo spaces;
  4. Organise shipboard emergency procedures;
  5. Optimise use of resources;
  6. Control response to emergencies;
  7. Control passengers and other personnel during emergency situations;
  8. Establish and maintain effective communications.
COURSE ENTRY STANDARDS:
This course is principally intended as basic training for seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity onboard a vessel as part of the vessel’s crew with designated safety duties in operation of the vessel.

There are no particular educational requirements.
All delegates must be certified by a doctor to be in good health.
COURSE STANDARDS AND ACCREDITATION:
This course meets the requirements of Statutory; Flag approved SEATAG Training Package – Category A – STCW Regulation VI/1 and Code Section A-VI/1 Table A-VI/1-3 of the STCW Code as amended.

This course have been approved and accredited by the Singapore MPA.
COURSE ASSESSMENT:
This Training and Assessment Package is delivered online and assessed online by-way-of the AAELA Learning Management System.
The assessment process is by way of multi-choice quiz after each Module and a final multi-choice after the last Module.
COURSE CERTIFICATION:
On successful completion of this course, a Certificate of Completion will be issued by SEATAG and within thirty (30) days, a Certificate of Training (Proficiency) will be issued by Flag Authority which has accredited this course in accordance with Table A-VI/1-3 of the STCW Code as amended.
The Certificate of Training (Proficiency) is valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of issue.
