These instructions are designed to assist learners to navigate our Category 3 courses.
NOTE 1: Category 3 courses may be amended to suit company specific processes and procedures or company specific equipment, on request.
If you already know what course you wish to purchase, click on the “Purchase Now” tag and you will be taken directly to our PayPal payment system where you can purchase the course using your own PayPal Account, or by using one of the major credit cards as listed.
Once you have chosen the course(s) you require, your course(s) may be purchased individually by clicking on the “Purchase Now” tag or by clicking on the “Add to Shopping Cart” tag.
Category 3 courses are designed and are delivered within our Learning Management System as non- facilitated, self-paced, self-study eLearning courses.
Category 3 courses operate on a remedial assessment system and print out a Certificate of Attainment when the course is successfully completed and the course feedback form has been uploaded.
All Category 3 courses are generic in nature and are accredited by various industry bodies and government authorities as well as courses accredited under the AustralAsian Group Quality Management System standard.
NOTE 2: Course accreditations and expiry periods are listed within each Course Overview.
Category 3 courses have been divided into five sub-categories;
1. Health, Safety and Equipment;2. Offshore Oil and Gas and Maritime;
3. Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping;
4. Management and Soft Skills; and
5. Training and Assessment (Train-the-Trainer).
If you are unsure of the course you wish to purchase, click on the “Course Overview” tag and you will be taken to the course overview page, which provides all course details, including;
1. Course Name;
2. Training and Assessment Package Number or Unit of Competence Number;
3. Course Scope;
4. Course Objective;
5. Course Content;
6. Course Certification;
7. Course Prerequisites;
8. Certificate Validation;
9. Course Delivery Methods and Duration; and
10.Number of Delegates per course.
You will be taken to our PayPal payment system where you can purchase your course(s) using your own PayPal Account, or by using one of the major credit cards as listed.
Once you have successfully purchased your course(s) using PayPal or by using one of the major credit cards as listed, you will be taken to the Course Enrolment page which provides full instructions for course enrolment.
When you have completed all sections of the course enrolment process you will be able to commence you course.
A soft copy of your Certificate of Proficiency / Competency will be emailed to you within 2 working days of successful completion of the course.
Your hard copy Certificate of Proficiency / Competency will be mailed to you within 10 working days of successful completion of the course at the mailing address as stated within you course registration form.
NOTE 3: PayPal requirement may vary from country to country defending on specific country requirements.
NOTE 4: All sections of the course enrolment form must be completed.
If you have purchased an STCW course, the following documents will be required to be uploaded as part of the registration process;
1.    Copy of your current passport;
2.    Copy of your current BOSIET or course relevant STCW certificate;
3.    Passport photograph.
NOTE 5: You may choose to have your hard copy Certificate of Proficiency / Competency sent to you by UPS air satchel at the mailing address as stated within your course registration form at an additional cost of USD40.00.
NOTE 6: Replacement certificates may be provided to the certificate owner for a replacement cost of USD40.00 per replacement certificate. The cost of mailing the replacement certificate is included in this price. You may choose to have your replacement certificate sent to you by UPS air satchel at an additional cost of USD40.00.
